Withdrawal Policy (Consumers)

1) General Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the date of contract conclusion.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (bettermerch GbR Bayer u. Huber, Riegeläckerstraße 1, 71229 Leonberg, Germany, Email: support@mangolix.com) by means of a clear statement (e.g., by email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract.

You may use the model withdrawal form below, but this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

2) Withdrawal for Top-ups/Credits (Digital Content)

Top-ups and credit packages are digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium.

Expiration of Withdrawal Right

The right of withdrawal expires once we begin performance before the withdrawal period ends, if you:

  • Expressly consent to the start of performance, and
  • Acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.

We will confirm your consent and acknowledgement on a durable medium (e.g., email) and document it during checkout.

3) Withdrawal for Subscriptions (Ongoing Service)

Subscriptions constitute ongoing digital services. The 14-day withdrawal period begins on the date of contract conclusion.

Compensation for Services Rendered

Compensation is only owed if you expressly requested that we start providing the service during the withdrawal period.

If you withdraw after the service has begun, you are obligated to pay us compensation for services already provided up to the point of withdrawal.

Calculation Method

We calculate compensation based on the higher of the following two values, capped at the monthly price:

  • Time-based: (days used / days in billing period) × monthly price
  • Consumption-based: (credits consumed / monthly included credits) × monthly price

Example: Monthly price €9.99, 100 credits included, 30-day period. After 7 days with 40 credits used: Time = (7/30) × €9.99 = €2.33; Consumption = (40/100) × €9.99 = €4.00. Compensation = €4.00 (higher value).

4) Handling of Credits Upon Withdrawal

Top-up Credits

As described in Section 2, the right of withdrawal for top-ups expires once we begin performance (i.e., when the credits are added to your account). If you have given your consent to immediate performance, no refund is available after credits are credited to your account.

Subscription Credits

If you withdraw from a subscription within the 14-day period, compensation is calculated as described in Section 3. Any remaining unused credits from the current billing period are forfeited upon withdrawal.

Post-Withdrawal Usage

After exercising your right of withdrawal, you may no longer use the service or any remaining credits. Continued use after withdrawal constitutes acceptance of a new contract.

5) Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, minus any compensation owed for services already rendered (see Sections 3 and 4), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.

We will use the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
